When is Anti-Bullying week in 2024?

Anti-Bullying Week 2024 took place from Monday 11th - Friday 15th November, with the theme: Choose Respect.

Anti-Bullying Week is an annual event that aims to raise awareness of bullying of young people, with an emphasis on prevention and effective responses to bullying. It began in 2002 and is coordinated by the Anti-Bullying Alliance.

What happens in the Anti-Bullying Week Live Lesson?

Join Shanequa Paris, Rhys Stephenson and Dr Radha Modgil in this Live Lesson coming to you from Wigan, the home of Hacker T Dog.

Barry the Hamster and Gary the Rabbit have fallen out, and their row is threatening to ruin sports day! Hacker needs your pupils’ help to mediate between them.

Your class will help Hacker to put on the ultimate sports day where we'll learn how to play fair, work together, and show respect.

Working in partnership with the Anti-Bullying Alliance, this interactive programme for primary schools will inspire children to handle disagreements constructively, without turning to bullying.

• Respect other people's point of view and constructively challenge those they disagree with.
