New BBC Live Lessons for 2025/2026

Find out more about our latest series of Live Lessons for primary schools.

The series kicked off with an exciting new 500 Words literacy lesson and also includes fun interactive programmes for Anti-Bullying Week, Safer Internet Day and World Book Day.

We’ll also be Walking with Dinosaurs as we bring the stunning new BBC iPlayer series into classrooms with children becoming dino-detectives as they solve curriculum-linked puzzles.

All lessons are curriculum-linked for 7-11 year olds and feature fun learning activities they can join in with in real time.

Earth Day 2026 – Live Lesson: Wednesday, 22 April

Join us for a Live Lesson on Earth Day 2026, hosted by Megan McCubbin and Ade Adepitan, where your pupils will take on a low-carbon mission: to put on a planet-friendly gig for band manager Hacker T. Dog.

Along the way, we'll explore what climate change is, learn about greenhouse gases and CO₂, and discover how everyday choices can make a difference.
