Uncle Black
Uncle Black playing live
Uncle Black describe themselves as a 21st century folk band. They've already had a track played on BBC Radio 2 but do you think fame and fortune beckons?

The line-up consists of Les on guitar and vocals and Mike on bass and vocals but when playing live they are sometimes joined by Paul on drums and Steve on electric guitar.

Their music draws from the alternative country scene but they believe it also leans towards the light indie sound of the likes of Belle and Sebastian.

It's the kind of music that you can imagine listening to on a relaxing summer evening or popping into your CD player to sooth and calm you after a stressful day.
