Energetic and powerful are to perfect words to describe Blackout's sound. 'The Face' stands out as the best track here and it certainly lives up to their claim of having "catchy riffs and melodies".

The band members are:

Catherine Winter - Vocals
Steve Arnold - Guitars
Marcus Norman - Guitars and Vocals
Danny King - Bass and Vocals
Si James - Drums and Vocals

Blackout! emerged early in 2003, formed from the ashes of DDT by Marcus Norman and Steve Arnold. Over the last year they've evolved into a five-piece with each member having very different backgrounds, influences and styles.

Their sound lies somewhere between System Of A Down, Korn and Metallica and the band describe themselves as having "catchy riffs and melodies, huge vocals and an unforgettable on-stage presence."
