Poser are an all American Emo/Punk Rock band from Lakenheath and are doing very well for themselves. They've got a deal with an indie label and have already broken on to the Camden circuit in London. |

They made a name for themselves on the local scene after storming to victory in the 2003 Newmarket Battle of the Bands competition and this success soon spread to Cambridge and London.
Spotted and signed up by local indie label, Definitely Sound Records, Poser released their debut EP, Scars That Never Fade, in July 2004.
The EP has lead to even more gigs and festival performances across the country and a sponsorship deal with Fender guitars.
They say their influences include Blink 182, Dashboard Confessional and The Used and while clearlry drawing from such sources of inspiration they seem to be developing a distinctive Poser sound.
We all know it takes serious commitment to make it performing your own original material and with an almost endless gigging schedule, Poser definitely seem to have it by the truck-load. | |
