Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe are coming to Thetford Forest this summer. They're the fourth act confirmed to play this year alongside Embrace, UB40 and Jamie Cullum.

Pet Shop Boys will be performing in Thetford Forest on Friday 21st July 2006. Their new album, "Fundamental", was produced by Trevor Horn and before release has been acclaimed as one of their best ever.

Since scoring their first number one hit with 'West End Girls' in 1986, Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe have gone on to become the most successful pop duo in history with 36 top twenty hits and 10 top ten albums.

In addition to this they have collaborated with artists as diverse as Dusty Springfield, David Bowie, Tina Turner, Liza Minnelli, Boy George and Yoko Ono and remixed for other artists including Blur, Rammstein and Madonna.

In 2001 Pet Shop Boys musical "Closer To Heaven", written with playwright Jonathan Harvey, ran in London's West End for six months. Their original score for the classic silent film "Battleship Potemkin", performed by them with the Dresden Sinfoniker orchestra, was premiered in 2004 in a free concert in Trafalgar Square attended by 25,000 people. This year it will be played in Newcastle and Dresden.

Since first touring in 1989, Pet Shop Boys have proved they can cut it in the open air with appearences at many European festivals including Glastonbury, Roskilde and Benicassim.

Other dates in Thetford Forest are UB40 (Friday 9th June), Embrace + Morning Runner ( Saturday 10th June) and Jamie Cullum (Saturday 22nd July).
