The top-seeded Agassi was nearly surgical in his serve and volley attack against the third-seeded Blake. Sunday's final will mark the first time two players 30 years old or over will meet for the title since 1971 when Rod Laver beat Ken Rosewall. Sanguinetti is seeking his third career ATP title. "Everybody knows Agassi is the best athlete," Sanguinetti said. "He's the best player at the moment and at the peak of his career. I'm 0-3 against him so I have to do something different." Escude pulled his hamstring during his quarter-final victory over Rodolphe Cadart on Friday. "I tested it this morning and decided not to go ahead," said Escude. "I felt a small pain - it was a pull high in my right thigh. "I definitely wouldn't have been 100% so I decided it wasn't worth it. "I'm disappointed because I'm playing very well at the moment." World number six Federer beat Bjorkman the last time the pair met - at Wimbledon in 2001. But Bjorkman has had the benefit of a day off and Federer admitted he was feeling the effects of fatigue. "They are both tough rivals, but I have made myself a name in the circuit and I am confident," Sanchez said. |
