Baltacha out of USA match
Elena Baltacha enjoys success at Wimbledon
Elena Baltacha has been troubled by injury
New British number one Elena Baltacha has been forced to pull out of the Under-20 team for the annual Maureen Connolly Trophy match against the USA in Bournemouth this week.

Baltacha, who reached the third round at this year's Wimbledon, has struggled to shake off a persistent viral infection and doctors have ordered her to rest.

Her place has been taken by Emily Webley-Smith.

Baltacha's coach, Alan Jones, said: "She has had a worrying 10 months, but now she is excited that we are getting to the root of the problems and she hopes to be back in action soon."
