| Friday, 29 November, 2002, 14:59 GMT Bradford get Odsal boost ![]() Work at Odsal is expected to begin straight away Bradford Bulls have been given the green light to redevelop part of Odsal Stadium, their spiritual home to which they will return next season. Bradford Council has given planning permission for a two-storey building which will create a new stand on the south-east side of the ground. The structure will be elevated above pitch level to provide views across the pitch from corporate hospitality boxes. "After signing the leasing agreement, we are pleased to see the approval of this application for new facilities at Odsal," said councillor Simon Cooke. "I am sure thousands of people will benefit from the improvements." The Bulls, who have shared Valley Parade with First Division football club Bradford City for the past two seasons, acquired the stadium from the council on a 150-year lease. The club say more details will be announced next week, but work is expected to begin immediately and be completed by May. | See also: 22 Aug 02 | Rugby League 16 Aug 02 | Super League 20 Jun 02 | Super League 20 Jun 02 | Super League Top Super League stories now: Links to more Super League stories are at the foot of the page. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
