The former Tigers man has agreed a one-year contract and will line up alongside fellow new recruits Paul Jackson and Jamie Thackray. Maloney made 54 appearances in his first spell with Castleford from 1998-99 and has also played for Oldham, Leeds, Featherstone, Warrington and Wakefield.
"I'm glad to be coming back to Cas and I'm looking forward to next year," said the 29-year-old. "The squad seems to be shaping up well with some good new signings." Tigers coach Graham Steadman said: "Francis offers me plenty of versatility. "He has played for England in the past and has a lot of Super League experience.
