| Friday, 14 February, 2003, 05:08 GMT Lalime shines for Senators ![]() Patrick Lalime has been in great form recently Patrick Lalime stopped 24 shots for his second consecutive shut-out and seventh of the season as the Ottawa Senators beat the Edmonton Oilers 2-0. Lalime shut out Pittsburgh 3-0 on Wednesday and Marian Hossa scored his third goal in as many games to help the Senators to victory. The Senators extended their unbeaten run to five games and hold a three-point lead over New Jersey for first place in the Eastern Conference. In Detroit, Sergei Fedorov scored twice as Detroit beat Buffalo 4-2, winning two successive games for the first time since December. Jason Woolley and Igor Larionov scored the Red Wings' other goals, Brendan Shanahan and Nicklas Lidstrom each had two assists, and Curtis Joseph made 31 saves. Slumping Buffalo have not won in eight games. Michal Handzus scored an overtime winner to complete a late 4-3 win by the Philadelphia Flyers over the St Louis Blues.
