Luca Cumani's Gossamer took over as favourite.

Quarter Moon led champion trainer Aidan O'Brien's quartet, with stable jockey Mick Kinane back in the saddle after being banned for the 2,000 Guineas.

But it was Godolphin and Frankie Dettori who triumphed, on 14-1 chance Kazzia.
