Boxing legend Felix 'Tito' Trinidad could be set for a re-match with the only man who beat him - in a cage filled with barbed wire and flames.

The bizarre claim was made in a respected Puerto Rican newspaper, which suggested the former welterweight king would return to the ring as a wrestler.

El Nuevo D�a stated Trinidad would begin his new career in January, building up to a clash with Bernard Hopkins in September - two years after the American comprehensively beat him in a middleweight world title fight.

The paper said Tito - once regarded as the best pound-for pound fighter on the planet - would exact revenge on Hopkins inside a chain link cage containing fire, barbed wire and a Puerto Rican flag hanging above.

And if that all sounds a tad ridiculous, it is. Take a look at the date on the paper and you realise it is Puerto Rico's equivalent of an April Fool's Day joke (ho, ho).

Shame Audley Harrison can't use the same line.

Police Inspector Derek Davison said: "It's been years since this level of problem. It was a surprise. One factor was that it was probably a very boring game."
