Wise has been suspended pending an internal inquiry into the incident. The inquiry is expected to be completed by the time manager Micky Adams returns from Finland to meet chairman Martin George on Wednesday. It is not known how long Scotland defender Davidson, 26, will spend on the sidelines but he seems likely to miss the start of the season. Adams told the club's official website: "Callum has a double fracture of the cheekbone. "The injury will be assessed again on Monday and at the moment it is too early to say how long it is going to keep him sidelined." |
