Dundee manager Jim Duffy has been named Bank of Scotland Scottish Premier League manager of the month for January.

Duffy's team were limited to just two games last month as a result of the winter break and bad weather.

A 3-1 defeat by Rangers at Ibrox earned the Dens Park side plaudits for their performance, which Duffy felt might have earned his side a point.

They followed that up with an excellent 1-0 victory away to Dunfermline and a place in the SPL's top six is still very much a realistic goal for Duffy's side.
