Blackburn boss Graeme Souness has said that Jansen can move on loan to try to regain full match fitness. The 25-year-old is yet to start a Premiership game this season following a serious head injury sustained in a motorcycle accident last summer. And Souness believes his recovery will be aided by playing first-team rather than reserve-team football. "Burnley have enquired about him along with several other clubs from the first division," Souness told the Lancashire Evening Telegraph. "I'm due to have a meeting with Matt to discuss the situation." Jansen scored 23 goals to help Blackburn to promotion from Division One two years ago. |
