Adepoju signs for Samsunspor
Adepoju is an experienced international midfielder
Mutiu Adepoju has signed for Samsunspor

Nigeria international Mutiu Adepoju has signed an 18 month contract with Turkish club Samsunspor.

The midfielder has been without a club since leaving Spanish second division side Salamanca at the end of last season.

Adepoju has Spanish nationality after years spent playing in that country, for the likes of Real Madrid and Real Sociadad, so does not count as a foreign player.

Adepoju joins up with former Nigeria team mate Ike Shorunmu, who signed for the Turkish club in the summer.

Adepoju is an experienced international, who has notched up 54 caps and 5 goals for his country.

He was part of the Super Eagles squad for last summer's World Cup, but did not play a game.
