Trent Bridge, day two of three
Nottinghamshire 287-9 dec. and 38-0 v West Indies A 223-8 dec.

The day was dominated by two substantial efforts with the bat.

Nottinghamshire rookie Vikram Atri came within two runs of making a century on his first-class debut.

In the West Indies A reply, new ball pairing Nadeem Malik and Tom Savill started well before Ryan Hinds settled into a fine innings.

Hinds ended with 73 off just 75 balls - and was finally out when he was caught off Gareth Clough's medium pace.

Nottinghamshire had to face 7.4 overs before the umpires brough the players off for bad light, which they managed without losing a wicket.
