| Friday, 14 June, 2002, 20:36 GMT 21:36 UK West Indies beat Irish Former Ireland skipper Kyle McCallan hit 20 runs West Indies 'A' defeated Ireland by 82 runs in Friday's Anglo-Irish Bank international at Rathmines. The visitors, with three Test players in their squad, opened with a total of 268-6 after 50 overs but Ireland could only manage 186 all out after 49.1 overs in reply. Brian Ganga top-scored for the West Indies, hitting 86 runs, while Donovan Pagon weighed in with 68. Andrew White was the most impressive of the Irish bowlers, taking three for 49 in what was coach Adrian Birrell's second major match in charge. Ireland's Peter Gillespie claimed the man-of-the-match award by hitting his side's top score of 88 runs, with former international skipper Kyle McCallan notching 20.
