Audley Harrison believes it is time Lennox Lewis received a knighthood for his achievements in the ring.

"He has done so much for this country and yet he has taken so much criticism," Harrison told BBC Sport Online.

"He deserves a knighthood after that."

Harrison has always been a Lewis fan and believed very strongly that the British man was going to win.

"I'm not surprised by the result at all," he said.

"You saw everything of Lennox tonight - that was a tremendous performance.

"You saw Lennox being dominant and strong and using a beautiful jab.

"Mike was courageous, because he took a hell of a beating.

"Lennox had the perfect strategy - break him up and then take him down."

Colin Hart, the former boxing writer for The Sun newspaper, also offered his praise to Lewis.

"Lewis fought a perfect fight," Hart said.

"After three rounds, Tyson was shot. He won the first round and that was it for him.

"If he had any sense, Tyson would retire, as would Lewis."
