Are you the next top tennis commentator? Could you out-talk John McEnroe as the balls fly at Wimbledon?

Yes? Well now is the time to prove it with our sensational Mini Mac commentary competition!

Prove yourself the King or Queen of the cross court comment and you could win the chance to be interviewed by John McEnroe on BBC TV - and commentate on the Wimbledon final!

Sounds like a dream come true, but it will turn to reality for two people in the next fortnight.

Here's what you have to do:

The competition is open to budding commentators aged 8-16.

We will choose the best five from the third round of entrees, and there will be further opportunities as the fortnight progresses.

All entries must get to us by 23:00 on Tuesday 2 July.

Here are five of the best from the first round.

28k Leytham-Scott Libby from London

28k Katie Smith from Dalton

28k Richard Spencer from Swansea

More details will appear on this page and also on the BBC's Wimbledon TV coverage.

John McEnroe and our panel of tennis experts will choose the overall winners - a boy and a girl - during the second week.

The winners will be invited to the men's final on Sunday, 7 July.

They will meet John and be interviewed by him on television, and will then go into the commentary box to cover the final - with their words of wisdom going out live on the BBC TV's interactive Wimbledon service!
