 Baltacha lost in the first round at Roland Garros |
Elena Baltacha has pulled out of the women's doubles at the French Open in order to rest a stiff back. The British number one said she suffered no ill effects from the injury during her first round singles exit to Agnieska Radwanska on Monday. Baltacha told the Lawn Tennis Association website: "I've been advised that I should rest a bit longer. "With the grass court season just about to start, it would be silly to risk any more problems with my back." Baltacha is due to appear at the ITF event in Nottingham next week.
