Scott Clayton and his partner Charlie Cohen breeze through to quarters with a two set win

Jersey tennis pair Scott Clayton and Charlie Cohen are through to the quarter-finals of the boy's doubles at the Commonwealth Youth Games in India.

The pair beat Higgins and Duwane from St Vincent and the Grenadines 6-4 6-2 on the 5,000 capacity centre court.

They will now meet the Indian seeded pair in the next round.

On the athletics track, Jersey's Gemma Dawkins finished sixth in the semi-final of the girl's 400m, with a time of 57.79 seconds.
