Ljubicic does not have a good record on grass |
Ivan Ljubicic is looking forward to finishing his Davis Cup career at Wimbledon in September. The world number seven confirmed he will be part of the Croatia team that takes on Great Britain at the All England Club on 21-23 September.
"I am definitely going to play," Ljubicic told BBC Sport.
"I announced already that it's going to be my last Davis Cup match and I think this is the perfect place to finish - Wimbledon is the home of tennis."
The Croatia line-up remains in doubt as Mario Ancic has been suffering with glandular fever and Ivo Karlovic has been in dispute with his federation, but a full-strength team would be a stern test for John Lloyd's GB side.

"I might not get in the team," said Ljubicic. "I don't know who will play but if we have a full team we have a good chance.
"I think we need to win the doubles, that's important for us and we have a good chance."
Britain will hope that Andy Murray and Tim Henman are fit for the Davis Cup World Group play-off and Ljubicic has plenty of respect for the home team's top two.
"Tim has played I don't know how many semi-finals at Wimbledon and Murray has a lot of expectation around him and so far he is living up to them," said Ljubicic.
