Murray foiled in second title bid
Andy Murray
Andy Murray's bid for a second successive title ended on Friday with a quarter-final loss to Gregory Carraz in the Granby Challenger in Canada.

Carraz took the first set comfortably but Scotland's Murray, 18, made the second seed work hard for his victory.

The Frenchman eventually won 6-3 7-6 (9/7) against the eighth-seeded Murray, who won his first career Challenger title in California two weeks ago.

Murray is ranked 156th and will rise again after two wins in Quebec.
