British teenager Andy Murray eased into round two of the Granby Challenger in Canada on Tuesday with a win over fellow Briton Richard Bloomfield. The 18-year-old was well in control in the early stages of Tuesday's match and cruised through the opening set.
Things got tense in the second as Bloomfield battled back, but Murray held on to win 6-2 7-6 (7-5).
The young Scot now faces Romania's Florin Mergea, who crushed Canadian wildcard Peter Polansky 6-4 6-2.
