Will Anderson rescue Halifax?
Sacked Halifax coach Steve Linanne
Tony Anderson is the new coach of Halifax Blue Sox following the sacking of Steve Linnane.

Will he keep them in the Super League? And who do you think will face the drop?

HAVE YOUR SAY

Halifax turned to former player Anderson after sacking Linnane, who had signed a new contract less than a month ago.

He takes on a team that have won just one of their last 11 matches, and currently lie ninth in the table, three points off the bottom.

With just four games remaining, Halifax are one of four teams who could face the drop - Wakefield, Warrington and Salford are also in the mire.

Will Anderson keep Halifax up? And who is heading for relegation?

This debate is now closed. A selection of your e-mails appear below.

Anderson is no doubt a wonderful coach but I also believe it's a time for change at Halifax. Bring in the teams younger stars such as Mark Drysdale and John McAllister and see what they can do.
Wayne Kennedy, Armagh, Ireland

Halifax are too good to go down, but anything can happen. If they stay up then the future looks bright for Fax.
Steve Errigadoo, Lancashire

Tony can bring the glory day of the 80s back to the Shay!
Gav Dodd, England

Of course he will keep the fax up! Inspirational as a player and he is a top coach to boot.
Berni Dollman, Basque Country

As Halifax have beaten the four teams they have left to play they will stay up. It is in our own hands and Tony Anderson is the boost we needed.
Michelle Kilner, England
