One-cap Wales fly-half Matthew Jones says he is looking at his options in his home country when his two-year contract at Worcester ends in June.

"I'm really enjoying Worcester and the challenge of the Guinness Premiership," said 25-year-old Jones.

"But I've always had my eye on what's happening in the Welsh regions, and when a good time would be for me to come back home."

Jones has recently returned after eight months out with ankle injuries.

The playmaker began his career at the Ospreys, making 47 appearances for the Swansea-based region after his 2004 debut.

He played for hometown-club Bridgend, Moseley and London Welsh before Worcester coach Mike Ruddock snapped him up for the Warriors.

Former national coach Ruddock gave Jones his solitary cap as a replacement in the 3-60 win over Canada on Wales' 2005 summer tour of North America.
