Dai Young says the Welsh regions are dedicated to Wales' cause |
Cardiff Blues director of rugby Dai Young has again hit back at critics of the Welsh regions' support for Wales. Young says the regions have always supported the national team and would continue giving that support to new Wales coach Warren Gatland.
"We want the national team to do well and I don't see that changing with Warren coming on board," Young said.
"We're here to support Wales... anything they've asked us to do, within reason, we've always supported."
Young had been criticised by Nigel Davies, who took charge as caretaker coach for Wales' 34-12 loss to South Africa last weekend.

Davies was concerned that Martyn Williams, recently retired from Test rugby, was playing ahead of the up and coming Robin Sowden-Taylor, who started at open-side against the Springboks.
Young had dismissed that worry, saying Sowden-Taylor had started more games than Williams for the Blues so far this season.
"Any training sessions the national side have asked for they've had, any release they've had, anything they've asked us to do - within reason - we've always supported," Young added.
"That's what we've done and I would disagree with any suggestions in the past that we haven't been 100% supportive to any of the national coaches."
