Cardiff RFC have signed Wales Under-21 utility back Craig Evans from Llanelli Scarlets/Carmarthen Quins. The 6ft 2ins, 14-stone man made four appearances for Wales at the Under-21 World Championship in France this year.
He featured four times at full-back for the Scarlets in the league last season, and is equally at home at outside-half.
The Blue & Blacks have also signed backs Llyr Lane (Doncaster), Tom James (Merthyr), Daniel Gravell (Llanelli) and Shaun James (Cornish Pirates).
Forwards Matthew Amos, Gavin Lucas, Gareth McCarthy and Dafydd Rosser have arrived at the Arms Park from Pontypool.
Established Blue & Blacks Leon Andrews and Elgan Jones have signed new contracts with the club this week, while Matthew Silva has been added to the coaching team with responsibility for the backs.
Francesco Brillante, Jonathan Hill, Khalid Jama, Kris Kinsey, Nathan Llewellyn and Wayne Murphy have left the club, while Mark Lewis will be registered with Cardiff Blues.
