Fiji gave away a number of penalties to Scotland |
Mosese Rauluni says his Fiji side must improve their discipline if they are to have a chance of beating Ireland following their defeat by Scotland. "I thought we would have a good chance," the scrum-half said after the 23-10 reverse at Murrayfield. "But our discipline cost us. "It is something we wil have to work on for our match against Ireland. "We were missing some players, but Scotland have lost a lot of players through injury." Fiji coach Glen Ellis had complained before the game that some clubs had not released players to play for Fiji. | I think we could have given Scotland a better fight |
But Rauluni said: "It was probably not the best front row Scotland could have had and our forwards have to work on their set-pieces." His feelings were echoed by team-mate Nicky Little, who scored a penalty and conversion. "Credit to Scotland, they beat us fairly and squarely," he said. "We had some new players and every November we come up against the problem of players not being released and I think we could have given Scotland a better fight. "Hopefully, in a few years, we will have a good team, but the boys have learned about discipline here."
