Saurel said his players performed with pride against SA |
Georgia coach Claude Saurel spoke of his pride at his side's performance against South Africa on Friday.
The east Europeans put up a valiant display, before finally being defeated 46-19 in Sydney.
"South Africa was the superior team but our players were very proud," Saurel said.
"They tried everything they could and we could have scored another try. We came here with a state of mind.
"We were determined to do our best and give it a go and see how we come up against those strong teams and then go home and do some more work.
"Tonight you saw some of the true face of Georgia, what we can actually do.
"Of course the boys are not totally satisfied but they are proud of their effort."
