Zedguinidze has said Georgia can win all their games

They will be England's opponents when Clive Woodward's men in white open their Pool C bid at the Subiaco Oval.

Despite being flat broke, Georgia have a wealth of optimism that will initially give England a few nervous moments - but not many.

"I think we will win all the matches," said Georgia captain Ilia Zedguinidze with a fairly straight face.

"Our determination is to win all our matches and we will see what will happen.

"We know the teams Georgia have beaten before this World Cup are not of the level of the teams we are going to meet," added Zedguinidze whose side defeated the Netherlands 88-0 and also chalked up wins against Spain and the Czech Republic this year.

''South Africa, England, Samoa and Uruguay, are obviously more difficult opponents, but we have nothing to fear.

"We will try our best to beat England. As for the other teams I don't think we have either easy or hard matches - all matches have the same intensity for us."

Ranked 17th in the IRB world listing, Georgia are the only side making their debut in the Rugby World Cup.

They have never played any of their opponents before and they booked their trip to Australia in a winner-takes-all 17-13 victory over Russia last autumn.
