Coach Hill undecided on Worcester Warriors' captain.
Hill has not ruled out Pat Sanderson staying as skipper.
Head coach Richard Hill will give a number of players the chance to impress him before he names the Worcester Warriors captain for next season.
Hill told BBC Hereford and Worcester: "I am giving different people responsibility in training and will see who can step up to that role.
"If Pat (Sanderson) is not going to be captain, is there anyone who is willing and capable of taking it on?"
Hill has made it clear that he is starting with a clean slate at Sixways.
He said: "There are a lot of good young players who have mentioned to me they would like some leadership roles.
"I am making four different captains for four games that we have, and we'll see who steps up for it."
There has been speculation that Sanderson had lost the captain's job after skippering the Warriors throughout their years in the Premiership.
But Hill made it clear the 32-year-old back row forward remains among the candidates for the job.
Hill said: "I have known Pat a long time, and he is a tremendous character and a whole hearted player.
Sanderson has led Warriors for five seasons.
"He has done a terrific job at Worcester over the past five years.
"If Pat is not the person to do it, is there anyone else willing or capable of taking on the captaincy?
"This week and next week I will designate a captain at every session and if they impress me, then they will be in the frames.
"I do not want to make a rush decision, but I have a completely open mind, old or young I do not mind, but we'll see who steps up to the plate in the next few weeks."
