Worcester hand out new deals to promising youngsters

Worcester Warriors

Worcester Warriors have signed rising stars Matt Kvesic, Andy Short, James Freeman, Rob Wood and Louis Silver on new contracts at Sixways.

England Under-18 international Kvesic, 17, became Worcester's youngest ever first team player when he appeared against Scarlets in November.

Scrum-half Silver, 19, broke into the Warriors' first team towards the end of the season.

He made an impressive full Guinness Premiership debut against Gloucester.

"We're delighted to have agreed contracts to sign these talented young players as they all have very bright futures ahead of them," said Warriors academy manager Andrew Stanley.
