Worcester Warriors director of rugby Mike Ruddock will not be giving his players a week off after their 14-11 defeat by Harlequins on Saturday.

Leeds win over Saracens on Sunday means the Warriors are still in danger of dropping out of the Premiership.

Ruddock told BBC Hereford & Worcester: "I was hoping I could walk into the changing rooms after the game and tell the guys they have a week off.

"But we will stick to our plan, we have not achieved what we wanted."

He added: "They will have Monday off and we will be in Tuesday , Wednesday and Thursday, so they will get two long week-ends off.

"But we will regroup and debrief on Tuesday and clear up the knocks and bruises.

"We will keep pushing on, because that is what we need to do now."

Ruddock said he was unaware of an in incident at the end of the game when two Harlequins fans were involved in a confrontation with the Warriors coaching staff.

"I am totally deaf in my one ear after a fractured skull, so the people who had a go at me, I simply did not hear them," Ruddock said.

"It may have looked as if I was quite calm and ignored them, but I just could not hear it."
