Goode played the most recent of his 17 games in an England jersey last June
Worcester Warriors' new signing Andy Goode has revealed he used to babysit new team-mate Matt Mullan.
Former England fly-half Goode, 29, went to Bromsgrove School when he was 16, and he used to look after the England prop, who turned 23 on Tuesday.
Goode told BBC Hereford & Worcester: "I went there for sixth form. Funnily enough, I used to baby-sit Matt Mullan.
"Matt was a little kid when I was at school there, so I look forward to playing with him next season."
Speaking from New Zealand where he is about to make his debut for the Natal Sharks in the Super 14, the former Leicester and Brive player says he thinks Worcester will be in the Premiership next season.
"With he squad they have their now, and the coaching staff I am confident they won't get relegated," he said.
My folks live in Coventry, and they will be pleased - not to see me but my daughter
Worcester Warriors fly-half Andy Goode
"Historically Worcester are a team that finish the season strongly, and of the eight games they have left there are five at home.
"It is a true rugby club. Cecil (Duckworth) has done a tremendous amount of work, and with the stadium and the fans it is a great club to be at.
"One of my goals will be similar to when I went to Brive, who had not been in the Heineken Cup for 10 years, and were looked on like Worcester, with lots of potential.
"Fingers crossed we will stay in the Premiership and with the players being signed we can have a good season and bring Heineken rugby to Sixways."
Goode, who has signed a three-year deal for the Warriors, says he has enjoyed his time in France but is looking forward to returning to the Midlands.
"I really embraced the culture over there, and learned the language and my daughter enjoyed school there, but we feel it a great time to come back," he said.
