Warriors hit by new prop injuries

Worcester Warriors are on the look-out for a new prop after two more of their front row picked up injuries in Friday night's 12-12 draw against Saracens.

Callum Black limped off before the break with a calf muscle injury and fellow prop Tevita Taumoepeau picked up a similar problem late on.

Both are now struggling to be fit for Saturday's trip to London Irish.

And, with Matt Mullan and Shaun Ruwers already out injured, coach Mike Ruddock admits that they may need cover.

"It is starting to make a massive dent in our resources," Warriors director of coaching Ruddock told BBC Hereford and Worcester.

"I don't know if we can survive until next week. But we are looking around at options, to come in and plug the gap.

"It will be difficult, as any props of any quality will be signed up elsewhere."
