Worcester Warriors' experienced full-back Chris Latham should be fit and available for the home game with Bath in two weeks' time.

The 33-year-old Australian was stretchered off on Saturday during the 37-20 victory at home to Sale Sharks.

The former Queensland player complained of losing the feeling in his hands and legs for a short while.

He was released from Worcestershire Royal Hospital on Saturday night after scans revealed no permanent damage.

Warriors director of rugby Mike Ruddock told the club website: "It is a shock type injury where the spinal cord gets a jolt and momentarily everything shuts down for a while.

"He lost a bit of the feeling in his arms and legs for a while but that has now returned.

"Obviously it is still serious enough but the prognosis is positive at this stage."
