Worcester Warriors' prop Callum Black, 22, is to join National One club Otley on loan.

Warriors' director of rugby Mike Ruddock told BBC Hereford & Worcester Black needs regular first-team rugby.

"It has benefited Miles Benjamin, Matt Mullan, James Collins and Matt Cox in the past.

"Given the lack of 'A' team rugby during the next two months we feel that some players would benefit from some time out on loan," he added.

Black is a graduate of the Warriors academy has made 11 first-team appearances and has featured twice off the bench in the Guinness Premiership against Bristol and Saracens.

Black, who is an Ireland Under-18, Under-19 and Under-21 international.

Warriors will have the option to recall Black at any time during the loan period.
