Hereford United coach John Trewick says his side did not deserve to progress in the FA Cup after losing 2-1 to Dagenham and Redbridge on Tuesday.
Trewick believes the Bulls simply did not start the game at the right pace and did not earn the right to victory.
"Over the 90 minutes we didn't deserve anything but the defeat we got," he told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"We never really got started in the first 30 minutes of the game and deservedly found ourselves two down."
He added: "We got a goal back and had a lifeline, and we threatened to get back in the game, but they were better than us."

Hereford missed out on a 20,000 payment for making progress but Trewick says it is not only the money that matters.
"It's not just the financial side, but we could have gone to Leicester, against a good side, and maybe gone to the third round.
"We felt we could come here and get a decent result but we never quite got ourselves going.
"It's hard to explain but we were virtually out of the game before we had a chance to impose ourselves."
