Ruddock is closely linked to the Swansea area.

Worcester Warriors director of rugby Mike Ruddock says he is looking forward to his return to Swansea for their EDF Cup tie against Ospreys on Sunday.

Ruddock played for and coached the old Swansea club in the 1980s and 90s.

"It'll be interesting to go to the Liberty Stadium as a coach, as a former Swansea man I'm looking forward to it.

"We have injuries but hopefully we can put the team out we want, it'll be a good gauge to see how far we've come," he told BBC Hereford & Worcester.

"They pumped us in this competition last year, but we are a better side now, so it'll be interesting to see how much progress we have made."
