Worcester Warriors front row Matt Mullan has committed his future to the club by signing a new two-year deal. Academy product Mullan has been one of the big discoveries of the season, with 17 appearances for Warriors this term. Director of Rugby Mike Ruddock admitted he was delighted to agree a new deal with the England Under-20 player. "Matt is a fine prospect, as he can play in more than one position, playing prop for England and also at hooker and prop for Warriors." He added: "At only 21 years of age he has a massive future in front of him at the club. "He's another product of our thriving Academy programme and under the direction of Andrew Stanley, it has increased our options. "They are developing a number of highly talented players, who have all been playing first team rugby this season. "Players like Tom Wood, Miles Benjamin, Chris Pennell, Jonny Arr, Joe Carlisle, Will Bowley, James Collins and, of course, Matt Mullan."
