Tongan international Tevita Taumoepeau is the latest player to sign a new deal with Worcester Warriors. The 33-year-old joined Warriors during the summer of 2005 from French side Bourgoin, and has since become a cult figure at Sixways.
The tight-head prop has signed a two-year contract extension and will stay at Sixways until 2010
He becomes the second prop to agree terms in two days after Shawn Ruwers signed a new contract on Wednesday.
Taumoepeau has made 69 appearances for Warriors, scoring one try, and has made 19 starts this season.
Director of Rugby Mike Ruddock said: "There was a lot of interest in securing Tevita's services for next season and beyond but thankfully he has decided to commit his future to Warriors.
"Tevita has had a good season figuring in the majority of our matches so far.
"He has been rock solid in the scrum and has improved his contribution all over the field."
