Saracens centre Kevin Sorrell is likely to be out until October, after undergoing knee surgery.

The 31-year-old had to have reconstructive surgery on the knee after an injury sustained during Saturday's defeat at Northampton.

Saracens director of rugby Eddie Jones said: "It's a blow for Kevin and for the club.

"Kevin is one of the stalwarts of the club, and a very important member of the team. We will miss him."
