Lloyd made his debut for England Saxons last year

Saracens prop Nick Lloyd has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a hamstring injury.

The 32-year-old, who has played 16 times this season, will require surgery for the injury sustained in Sunday's Premiership win over Sale.

Sarries director of rugby Eddie Jones told the club website: "It's a horrible injury and one that I've never heard of a prop suffering before.

"It's a real shame because Nick has been playing well for us."
