Ormsby has scored four tries in 20 games for Sale

Sale Sharks has handed forward Kristian Ormsby a new two-year deal.

The 30-year-old ex-New Zealand Maori international has been at Edgeley Park since 2008 but has had his progress halted by a serious knee injury.

The injury kept him out for almost a year but he bounced back to become one of Sharks' most consistent performers, scoring four tries last season.

Ormsby told the clubs website: "I have enjoyed my time at Sale Sharks and I'm looking to the future with the club."
