Northampton scrum-half Lee Dickson happy with form

Northampton scrum-half Lee Dickson says he has hit form at the ideal time to help the team achieve success.

The 24-year-old has featured in 25 of the Saints' 26 matches so far this season as they contest the Guinness Premiership, LV= Cup and Heineken Cup.

Dickson told BBC Radio Northampton: "I'm starting to hit my peak at the right time, at the end of the season when you're there to win things.

"I'm not a big fan of being rested, and my main aim is to keep improving."

Dickson is confident that despite the Saints' relatively small squad, they will be able to maintain their form in the remaining months of the season.

"We're a tight squad and, as [Saints director or rugby] Jim Mallinder says, we're not a big squad but we play for each other," added Dickson.

"That's the main thing about Saints. We'll kick on and hopefully win something this year."
