Mallinder's Saints are chasing a seventh home win of the season |
Northampton boss Jim Mallinder has urged his players not to take victory for granted when Newcastle Falcons visit Franklin's Gardens on Saturday. Saints are unbeaten at home in the Guinness Premiership this season, with six wins and a draw to their credit. "It would be the easiest thing in the world to think it's going to be a comfortable victory," Mallinder told BBC Radio Northampton. "But we know it'll be a totally different story."
He added: "They may be below us in the table at the moment, but they've won their last three league games and are on a bit of a high.
"So we'll go into it with nothing to lose and keen to play some rugby." Falcons are just three points behind Northampton in the Premiership table following victories over Gloucester, Bristol and Saracens.
