Reihana's side suffered their seventh away defeat at Quins |
Northampton captain Bruce Reihana has wished his fellow New Zealander Carlos Spencer all the best for the future as he leaves the club. Fly-half Spencer, who signed in 2005, has left Franklin's Gardens after losing his place in the first team. "We've been through a lot of ups and a lot of downs together," Reihana told BBC Radio Northampton. "We've stayed true to the Saints but his time to leave has come, and that's sad because he's a close friend." He added: "But I wish him all the best for the future." Reihana's team are still without an away victory in the Guinness Premiership this season after losing 27-6 to Harlequins at The Stoop on Saturday. Northampton's two penalties came from the boot of Stephen Myler, who has taken over the number 10 shirt from Spencer this season.
